It was a blustery, cold and overcast December morning at Gunnamatta Beach. A scattering of fishermen were hoping to get an early catch for the day.
This image has been captured and produced without any digital manipulation.
Joanne studied photography many moons ago (pre-digital) and still often works as if shooting film. Joanne uses little to no digital manipulation in the post production of her photographs; all of the work is done whilst capturing the image. Joanne's work is about finding the hidden beauty, taking every day and capturing it from a different point of view. Joanne feels that too often we are caught up in our day-to-day lives and sometimes forget to enjoy the beauty that surrounds us.
Gunnamatta III is limited to an edition of 10 prints.
Each edition is hand signed, titled and numbered and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
All collections available framed or unframed, printed to museum grade quality on 450gsm fine art professional canvas or on 310gsm 100% cotton rag paper. Custom sizes available, contact Joanne to discuss.
Museum grade fine art canvas
Printed to museum grade quality on 450gsm professional fine art canvas.
Unframed canvas prints come with a 5 cm printed wrap around, plus additional canvas border for easy stretching.
Framed canvas prints are framed using locally sourced, sustainable oak in a shadowbox style, hand crafted in Victoria. Natural, white and black finishes available.
The style of Joanne's photographic art lends itself well to canvas printing and the fine texture it adds. Canvas removes the need for glass or perspex, eliminating reflections. The finished product is eye-catching, drawing the viewer in, enabling them to escape the day for a moment. Joanne recommends this finish.
310gsm 100% cotton rag paper
Printed to museum grade quality on 310gsm 100% cotton rag paper. Cotton rag prints come with a ~10 cm white border.
This finish is only available unframed (regardless of framing selection).
